Recently, with this new vintage 2008, we have changed the label of TOBIA SELECCION.

The Spanish newspaper ¨El Pais¨ has stood out our wine ALMA TOBIA ROSE Barrel Fermented 2010 as the best Spanish rose wine made with wood.
Carlos Delgado has given the maximun score to our wine, 9/10.

DAIMON Blanco Fermentado en Barrica 2010 gets 91 puntos on the Peñin Spanish Wine Guide 2012. In that guide, DAIMON Tinto 2009, DAIMON Rosado Fermentado en Barrica 2010, Viña Tobia Tinto 2010 y Viña Tobia Blanco 2010 get 90 points.

Our wine VIÑA TOBIA ROSADO 2011 has won the Silver Baco, 2nd Position, at the prestigious Spanish Wine Contest Baco Awards Harvest 2011. This constest is organized by U.E.C. (Spanish Tasters Asociation.

VIÑA TOBIA WHITE 2010 Gold Baco
Viña Tobia White 2010 has won “Baco de Oro” (Gold Baco), the best white wine in its category.
“Premios Baco” is the most prestigious wine competition that take place in Spain and it awards the best Spanish wines of 2010 the vintage.
This means that Viña Tobia White 2010 might be considered the best Spanish white wine of the 2010 Vintage in its category.
 
OSCAR TOBIA 2007. Institutional Wine of D.O.Ca. Rioja
Oscar Tobia 2007 has been selected by Consejo Regualdor of D.O.Ca. Rioja as Institutinal Wine of 2011 in the Reserva category.
In the last five years, the Consejo Regulador has selected three time our wine Oscar Tobia Reserva as Institutional Wine to represent D.O.Ca. Rioja all over the World.
Since 2001, eight wines from our winery have been selected as Institutional Wine of D.O.Ca. Rioja.
Institutional wines are selected by the memberes of Control Board in a blind tasting

TOAST FOR THE SPANISH PRESIDENCY OF THE EUROPEAN UNION WITH THE INTITUTIONAL RESERVA WINE OF RIOJA 2004.
Last Friday on January 8 th , at the Teatro Real in Madrid, and presided over by Their Majesties the King and Queen of Spain, it took place the Inaugural Gala of the Spanish Presidency of the European Union 2010. The official wine was wines from DOCa Rioja. The 1.500 guest at the Gala toast with the Institutional Reserva 2004 Wine chosen by the Institutional Control of Board of the Appellation Rioja, this wine is our Oscar Tobia Reserva 2004.
The other wine was an Institutional White 2008 Rioja Wine
THE EMBASSY OF VIETNAM CELBRATES THE VISIT OF ITS PRESIDENT WITH OSCAR TOBIA Reserva 2004
On 14 th and 15 th December 2009, the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Nguyen Minh Triet and his wife visited Spain.
The Embassy of Vietnam chose OSCAR TOBIA Reserva 2004 as an Official Wine to celebrate this event. OSCAR TOBIA Reserva 2004 was both the Glass of Wine that took place after the business meeting organized by the Ministry of Commerce, the Council of Chambers of Trade and the Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations and It was the gift that The Embassy of Vietnam gave at high public figures of Spain, like S.M. The King and the Foreign Minister of Spain.
DECANTER GIVE 4 STAR TO ALMA TOBIA 2005
The prestigious British publication, DECANTER, has made a wine tasting from 2005 vintage D.O.Ca. Rioja , giving 4 stars to our wine Alma Tobia 2005.
"Sweet lift. Velvet texture, lost of oak balanced by fruit and fresh acidity. Extracted, but huge concentration. Very modern style -a blockbuster type, if you like that". From 2012.

ROBERT PARKER INCLUDES FOUR WINES FROM BODEGAS TOBÍA AMONG THE BEST IN RIOJA
Famous wine critic and American guru Robert Parker has published in “The Wine Advocate” the 2009 Spanish wines review.
Among the 80 Rioja wines tasted there are 4 of our wines: Alma Tobía 2005 ( 93 points), Oscar Tobía 2005 (92 points), Tobía Graciano 2007 (91 points), Tobía Selección 2006 (88 points).
Only 5 rioja wineries have achieved to include 4 wines in this prestigious list and one of them it is Bodegas Tobía.
