OUR LANSCAPE
In this section we want to show to you how our surrounding landscapes evolve through the different year seasons. To that end we have selected a very special landscape, the beautiful meander that describes the river Ebro in its way by San Asensio. Where we can observe in the background the Cantabria Mountain Range and the Castle of Davalillo . The railway track runs parallel to the river and there, It is the train station of San Asensio.
EL INVIERNO
January 7th 2009. The firts important snowfall of the year.. The outside temperature: -1º C.
LA PRIMAVERA
April 22th 2009. We had been a month of spring, begin the first shoots. The outside temperature: 15º C.
EL FINAL DE LA PRIMAVERA
June 6th 2009. The summer approaches, the shoot of the vineyard is generalized and clearly visible in La Rioja Alta
THE SUMMER HAS ARRIVED
June 29th 2009. The summer is starting, the maximun temperature is 32º C (89,6º F) and the minimum is 20º C (68º F).
THE END OF SUMMER
September 2nd 2009. The hot and dry summer is finishing.
THE AUTUMN
October 2nd 2009. Excelent weather to get an excelent vintage wine.
November 11th, 2009. The autumn is drawing on and the vineyard shows us their wide range of colors
December 1st, 2009. The winter is coming. The vineyard has lost its leaves
WINTER
December 18, 2009. Winter has arrived in La Rioja. A large white snow covers the landscape.
